After more than 30 years in medicine—from high-pressure emergency rooms to holistic practice—I’ve seen firsthand that true, lasting transformation happens when we address the full landscape of health. This is the ultimate approach to preventitive medicine.

My Qualifications

My clinical training includes:

  • MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from Nottingham University Medical School (1994)
  • Extensive experience in emergency medicine, pediatrics and women’s health
  • Over 20 years in General Practice with a special interest in whole-person health
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Practitioner Level 1
  • Ongoing professional development in nutrition, functional medicine, somatic trauma work, and mindfulness

I also hold memberships with:

  • Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (Fellow)
  • Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA)
  • Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine
  • British Society of Holistic Medicine

Living in the heart of Central Otago, I’m deeply inspired by the natural rhythm and resilience of this land. Just as nature heals through cycles of rest, nourishment, and growth—so can we.

My approach is shaped by a love of the outdoors, nature, community and a belief that reconnection—to self, to body, to place—is a vital part of healing.
